Best Drawing is one of nine Everyone an Artist? exhibitions.
To be human is to be creative, to be creative is to be an artist, therefore everyone an artist?
"Everyone an Artist?" is made possible by lead sponsor Towson University, and partnering sponsors the Baltimore Collegetown Network, Johns Hopkins University, the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, the Maryland Institute College of Art, Stevenson University, and the University of Baltimore. Additional support from the Community College Baltimore County, Coppin State University, Loyola College in Maryland, Loyola/Notre Dame Library, and the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Third Floor, Towson University Fine Arts Center
Denise Tassin and students taking college-level drawing classes across Baltimore share what they consider to be their “best” drawings. The exhibition reveals an array of qualities that go into making drawings meaningful and successful.
An opportunity to explore, uncover, and celebrate the creativity among all of us, and a chance to encourage college students to visit other campuses, interact with one another, and take part in the cultural life of Baltimore City.
